5 water sports which you shouldn’t miss this season!

Busy schedule, hectic life, exceptionally hot summers and your mind is going ballistic! This calls for only one thing- water sports! So, take out some time for yourself and indulge in this adventurous activity.

With its mesmerizing beaches and exotic reefs, the USA is indeed a heaven for water sports.

So ready to dive in? Let’s go.

Here is the list of 5 water sports which you shouldn’t miss this season!

1. Kayaking: An excellent water sport admired globally. It includes utilizing a double-bladed oar to paddle a small boat. It was built thousands of years ago by the “Inuit” of the northern arctic for fishing and hunting. Ideal locations: Colorado river, Gauley River, etc.

2. Surfing: Another very popular sport. Indulge yourself in the cool soothing waters to get a feel-good feeling. Ideal locations: Santa Cruz, California (aka surf city), Capitola Beach, Malibu, Zuma Beach, Oahu, Hawaii, etc.

3. Scuba Diving: One of my personal favorites! Out from all the noise and chaos lose yourself in this calm yet mesmerizing sport. If you want to experience something extraordinary you haven’t before then this is for you! You’re bound to get awestruck by the breathtakingly beautiful undersea life.

Ideal locations: Bonne Terre, Missouri, Baranof Island, Puget sound, etc.

4. Snorkeling: Unsure about Scuba but still want to get the underwater experience? Then this is for you! It is swimming but with a well-equipped diving mask attached to a long tube used for breathing called a snorkel.

Ideal locations: Key West Florida, Crystal River Florida, Lahaina, Hawaii, Honolulu.

5. Kitesurfing: Another cool sport involving Kite and surfboard as you can guess from the name. So, it is a wind sport in which a large kite and a surfboard are used to propel you across the water.

Ideal location: South Padre Island, Long Island, Sherman Island, Belmont Shores.
